CANUCKLELION
Moma2 is in the house. Sedin bros, its showtime, individual efforts will win this game tonight but so will shot placement,if you want to pick off rebounds in front shoot at the tenders elbows from THE MIDDLE,freeze him and force him to habdle it from ta tough area. Shot placement from all lines, you need to spread the goalie out to the four corners of the net and also you need to work three levels high middle and low,use your lines and the three periods to do this, spread him ot by telling one line to shoot for each top corner and each bottom corner and get ther tender working as hard as you can in a consistant barrage, and open him up. They are bringing three forwards over the blue line together, you need to stand one up at the blueline so a forward needs to stay back, and a d-man needs to PINCH a forward out of the play and the forward sitting back has to support. Comeing out of the d-zone we need to SKATE the puck out hard right at them and use a short give and go to bust into the neutralzone then we can try a stretch pass and hope to catch them, but we need to skate it through their pressure first to about six feet before we hit our blueline and gain momentum by forceing them to deal with our fast transition back at them, first we make a fast first transition out of our zone by skateing three quarters of the way out and then we establish a neutral zone transition for ourselves, then we can go for the long break in pass or simply use the hybrid standby the UP-SPEED man comeing out of the neutral zone, the sedins need to use a onetimer from off the half, boards just above the faceoff circle so they can force the tender to turn as he tries to track and stop the puck,we want to make him set his feet to turn, and make sure the onetimers are on net, also across the board we need to start to use each pass as a shot opportunity because EVERY PASS is a potential one-timer,a shovel one-timer,a snap shot one timer--you get it ,but we need the extra speed to work the goalie, remember we need to spread him out by working the four corners with our lines tactical shooting ,this helps us now as we use MOST o-zone passes as ONE-TIMERS,and then we CHASE rebounds hard, but we need to convert our o-zone transitions into shots in the o-zone faster and more consistantly. RunningWild
Early in this game, Canucks don't look desperate. They look passive and afraid to make a mistake. Time for some balls to the walls!
Jester@wraiths.ca
Oh please just keep the 4th line on the bench... Kassian is looking more and more Stojanov every shift. Either he's being misused (with AV thats very likely) or he isn't ready for this...
