Funny how Chicago complains about what Raffi did to Hossa, but it was alright what Keith did to Daniel, which hurt the Canucks.

And lets not forget what that punk Shaw did to Smith. Chicago tries to say he embellished.

I only wish it had been Keith or Kane that Raffi hit. Chicago are abunch of cocky punks.

Keith's hit was worse than Raffis. At least this hit was a hockey play and not a just a dirty fu*king elbow to an unsuspecting players jaw. Yeah the hit was late and he left his feet, and maybe it was a tad high, but it was a hockey hit none the less.

I felt bad and was worried for Hossa's well being when I first saw the hit. But now that he's OK and it's all sunk in, karma is a b*tch Chicago. Let it marinate.

To use the words of Blackhawks fans. "Hossa be Floppin'".

Why? This is what the new NHL is all about. They know it sells why do you think Shanahan has done nothing to the system in place for suspensions he is just as soft as campbell was and Murphy before him. Bush league fans love it. Just read the YouTube comments on big hit/injury plays. Personally I won't be watching much next year it's a total disgrace, open season on stars.

It's hard to believe two people came up with this bizarre idea individually.

Unfortunately, you raise a valid point. Players will police themselves and the zebra's are just along for a VIP seat. Everyone comes to watch a fight and a hockey game breaks out.

Ironic that Buttman just happened to be at the game. As soon as the hit happened, I bet he was on the phone to Shannahan, telling him to suspend Raffi. "This I Command".

Shut the hell up people. Karma would be an elbow to Keith's temple.

ya ultimately you're right, however, on a team basis they took out our top scorer, someone took out theirs. i have no remorse for chicago as keith's hit was a deliberate attempt to take out a serious scoring threat incase we saw e/o in the playoffs again. im not saying yay somone got injured and its a good thing. i am saying that i dont feel bad for any bad fortune that may fall on chicago as a team, especially as a result of their dirty a$s ways.

Yah....I'm just not down with blaming the whole team for something one idiot did. I hate the Hawks but Hossa didn't deserve that crap, regardless of what Keith did to Danny.

No hockey player in the league EVER deserves a potentially career-ending hit. It doesn't matter who they are and who they play for. Have a little respect for the people who play the game.

People like you are the reason why the rest of the league hates our fanbase so much.

hopefully karma doesn't get you back for being happy at someone's injury. hossa, particularly, has very little to do with Daniel's injury.

I am with you Keith or Kane that would have been the sh*t or just about anyone on that team. So it didn't bother me to see hossa on his back. That whole team can kiss my a$$. I hate the hawks. If I was raffi last night I would have got more knowing I would be out for a few games. So no I didn't feel bad then or after the hit. Now I want it to go down in Boston.

I completely disagree. Duncan Keith 100% deserves an elbow to the temple.

Raffi is playing for Phoenix, nothing he does is *for* the 'Nucks anymore..especially something like this.

The fact that some fans are desperate enough for revenge on the Hawks to take pleasure from that hit is truly something I don't understand. If Vancouver was playing the Hawks and if one of our players had laid a similar hit I could see it as maybe a revenge thing for Danny but this...?

This hit was despicable and the fact that fans are cheering on an injured player is disgusting.

Hossa has never been known for his dirty plays, he is known to be a good player. He plays hockey the way hockey was meant to be played, with skill and dedication; not with cheap shots and dirty plays. That make this hit even more pathetic. Don't get me wrong, I like Torres, but there needs to be harsher punishments for crap like this or it won't end.
