Ralph.
At what point is someone just going to come out again after getting fined like that and just say, "You know what NHL? Give me another $10, 000. It's about time someone really stood out and said it: Fix your officiating and we won't have to complain. We're fed up with your (bleeeeeeeep). Now instead of fining us, how about you fix the real problem instead of punishing honesty?"

suolucidir
What does the average coach actually make? I've wondered but never seen a number.

Edler0023
Coach Q should've just hit the refs head against the glass, would've been cheaper.
The Belfast Cowboy
Coaches don't make nearly as much as players. Wouldn't be surprised if thats around 1/10th of his annual salary.
Edler0023
Remember people in Chicago called MG a whiner for complaining about reffing last post season? Of course, it wasn't over a brutal/dangerous hit, but was regarding inconsistency - the same issue that remains today.

Real deal - Stan Smyl
Hypocritical to say anything at all ... Considering recent events, and the fact that the Torres hit was Only borderline.
drdeath
It's an annual thing for Q. Have Torres blow up one of your players, cry to the media about it.
NKM12
How come Quenneville gets fined $10,000 for a comment he makes on officiating and then when Weber smashes Zetterbergs head into the boards he only gets fined $2,500? I would think a player would get fined more.

Real deal - Stan Smyl
Quennville would be $7500 ahead if he would have sent one of his players out to smash the refs head into the boards and covered the fine.
