tan Posted April 21, 2012 Share Posted April 21, 2012 Last year, we had Samuelsson and Erhoff who were playmakers that allowed Kesler to score more goals than he deserved. If Gillis knew what he was doing, he would have traded Samuelsson for another playmaker, instead of David Booth who plays run and gun hockey. This year, the second line is absolute garbage considering the amount of ice time they get. AV now has to put Burrows on the second line, and Booth on the first line to try and undo some damages. Trading away Torres was understandable, because the guy was an uncontrollable pit bull. Erhoff may have demanded too much, but we should have kept him. Gillis' worst offense by far, though, is trading Hodgson for Kassian. His second worst mistake is the long Luongo contract.
