After he de-glazes the pan, then he should put in some butter, and then add some flour to make a roux. When the flour has been coated with the better, then add the liquid, slowly, while stirring. It makes for a smoother, less lumpy looking sauce.

Otherwise, he looks like a good kid and I look forward to seeing him play for the Canucks one day.
