Merci
Florida - Tampa Bay Players of interest: Victor Hedman Teddy Purcell Ryan Malone Brett Connolly Jason Garrison Kris Versteeg? probably not Sean Bergenheim Jovanovski? What do you think the best combination of players we could get for Luongo. Teddy Purcell and a 1st for Luongo, 1st, Jensen and Malhotra
aragon416
maybe something around connolly? i doubt yzerman would give up hedman and TBH those are the only two players I would want from Tampa. Connolly+Tampas 1st or Connolly+Detroits 1st?

Pears
That's actually no where near the best deal we can get for Lu. Here is something that can be plausible for both teams: Vancouver receives: Taylor Hall + Sam Gagner + Magnus Paajarvi Edmonton receives: Roberto Luongo + Keith Ballard + Mason Raymond + Manny Malhotra + 2012 2nd round pick Daniel - Henrik - Booth Kesler - Gagner - Hall Burrows - Schroeder - Jensen Higgins - Lapierre - Hansen Kassian to AHL for more development or Vancouver receives: Jordan Staal + Zybnek Michalek + 2012 1st round pick Pittsburgh receives: Roberto Luongo + Manny Malhotra + 2012 1st rounder Daniel - Henrik - Burrows Booth - Staal - Kesler Higgins - Schroeder - Jensen Kassian - Lapierre - Hansen Hamhuis - Bieksa Edler - Tanev Ballard - Michalek

Rhinogator
those are the worst trades iv seen. they are definitely not realistic and bad value for them.
Tm085
Edmonton is the LAST team we'd trade Luongo to if he does end up getting traded he's going east

Darkstar
The only teams that are a realistic destination for Luongo are Tampa Bay or New Jersey. He won't go to Chicago, Florida has Markstrom and he likely won't go to Toronto either.
underrated
The teams that need a goalie are: Tampa Bay Toronto Edmonton Columbus New Jersey (only if Brodeur retires) Other possible teams depending on how their GM's view their current guys San Jose Detroit But neither of those will happen because they are strong western competitors With Edmonton in our division and Brodeur looking like he wants to come back...that only leaves three options looking for a goalie Toronto, Tampa Bay, Columbus. Luongo will not waive his no trade clause for Columbus and I doubt for Toronto either. So there is only one option for Luongo and three options for Schneider. My proposal: Schneider, Raymond, (mid to late) first round pick for 2nd overall pick from Columbus

Toews
I think Tampa would listen to offers for Purcell. Hedman and Connolly are going nowhere.
Guest
I don't think that Luongo would waive his no trade clause for anybody other then Florida or Tampa Bay, and those two teams don't have much to trade us except for extremely top level talent that they won't want to let go of. If we could pick any team that needs help in net, I think you'd have to go with a package from the Islanders as they have cupboards full of young potent forwards (thinking Okposo here)

underrated
Luongo to Toronto makes a LOT of sense, theres reasons for him to waive his NTC because the management (Nonis) is familiar with him, and hes closer to his hometown. The main fact why this might be more of a reality than people think...2 words, Brian Burke. Why? Burkie LOVES the spotlight, always has, hes impatient and brash. If he can find a quick fix, he'll do it. Sure theres other young goalies out there, like Bernier or Schneider that are available..but to what cost? The UFA pool for goalies this summer is EXTREMELY shallow, or Burke could go after a guy like Brian Elliot who might be just a flash a pan. Burke is under fire this year and will want to make a splash and hog the spotlight, do people honestly think Elliot would be bigger news to Leafs land than landing Luongo? highly doubt it
