Coyotes' Torres Suspended 25 Games

Phoenix Coyotes forward Raffi Torres has been suspended for 25 games for launching himself to deliver a late hit to the head of Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa during Game 3 of the teams' Western Conference Quarterfinal playoff series in Chicago on Tuesday, April 17, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

That's insane. It was nearly a clean hit (had he not left his feet and not powered upwards through the hit).

At least Torres TRIED TO MAKE IT LOOK like a normal check. Keith's elbow was just...well...obvious.

Ok that's a little much. 25 for Torres and 5 for the Daniel hit? Can't say I saw as much of an intent on the Torres hit. it's all about the media here, and the stretcher helps as well. If Torres gets 25 I say keith gets 15.
