Well we better hope not. MG is banking on Higgins to be a top-6 forward because Kassian, Raymond and Hansen are all fringe 2nd liners.

Yes cause Kassian has already played as best as he possibly can.....at the age of 21....hes as developed as he can be....no more growth whatsoever......none.....might as well trade the plug.............................................................

Calm down. It doesn't warrant a ban. The OP just needs to know to do his homework before starting a topic like this.

In case you weren't aware, OP, Cap Geek is a site that shows each team's payroll, with contract length, cap hits, etc. for each player.

Doesn't hurt to have a bit of class, fellas.

But our fanbase is a bunch of classless people.... :bigblush:

Despite being under contract, I don't think he'd leave regardless. I really think Higgins enjoys playing here.

higgy is signed for another year...

He has a 4 year contract with him, when he came to Vancouver. I highly doubt he will leave. Im hoping he stays for 2 or 3 years! Hes a good role player, he plays hard every game! He deserves to stay!!!

Vancouver rejuvenated Higgins career, he was close to being made to play in Russia. He's going no where

I'd trade him if St. Louis was crazy enough to trade Higgins for Perron one for one.

Other than that...he's staying.

Not sure about Higgins. But after this gets fully discussed here are some other questions.

1. Will Henrik return next year?
2. WIll Hamhuis return next year?
3. Will Burrows return next year?

etc.

he is a good role player that works very hard. i think he willl end up a lot like ryder did last off season. everyone saw how hard he works and that he can play in all situations. he can put up points, kill penalties, be apart of the powerplay and play in the top 6. some team desperate for offence will harsh over pay him and he will be gone. while i will be sad to see him go i would be really happy to see jensen take his spot. some people will say that hes not ready but i think it would be good to give him a chance in the nhl, both the skill and size are there.

Jensen just finished his 2nd year in the OHL, there's absolutley no doubt in my mind he'll spend at least 2 years in the AHL before he comes up... he's not Ovechkin and were not the Capitals circa 2005... meaning of course he isn't good enough yet, and we aren't in urgent need of skill. Schroeder will be up here before Jensen...

and of course HIGGINS IS SIGNED FOR ANOTHER YEAR!

Kassian is more like a fringe 4th liner
