hockeyville88
The Canucks discovered, drafted, developed, and groomed Schneider into a pristine goaltender and leader He is our project; our baby all grown up. And now we just hand him off to another team so that they can reap the rewards of our hard work?! I sincerely hope not. With his abilities and attitude he's going to go far in life. RunningWild
Schneider was an absolute beast ever since he took the net in gm 3. I am just looking at the numbers: Games 1-2: Canucks out chanced the Kings 36-31 overall. 30-21 at even strength Games 3-5: Kings out chanced the Canucks 64-44 overall. 49-32 at even strength According to the stats guys, you typically see on average of 13 scoring chances per game. On average, goalies let in 1 goal every 6 or 7 scoring chances. Games 1-3 were absurd. Just absurd. The Canucks were ran out of the rink in terms of scoring chances. IMO, Schneider stole those games, and stole them in style. Kind of makes me wonder why AV didn't go back to the lines and D pairings that worked in gms 1 & 2, cause those were the only lines/matchups that actually created chances and prevented chances against.
