Buddhas Hand
If that was Luongo people would be trying to burn his house down right now, but because it was Schneider it's ok
Guest Dasein
Everyone says a trade involving Schneider and Stamkos is stupid and retarded for even thinking about it but i think it is a VERY reasonable offer. Only need to add a few draft picks or role players to the deal and it can be a really benefitial deal for both teams. Schneider would be a starter for Tampa and Tampa really needs a goalie they can rely on instead of blindly having to pick one of the ones they got to stand infront of the net. Tampa also has St.Louis who is a play maker that can make other people produce on the team. Stamkos would LOVE to play for Vancouver because why would the highest scoring player want to play on a team that can't make the playoffs? Even though he is a center, we can convert him like we have been doing to all the other centers. Sedin-Sedin-Stamkos would be lights out with potential of Daniel and Stamkos both reaching 50 goals. This would allow for kes and burr to play fulltime together.
The Brahma Bull
his performance proved this team can't win with any goalie MG should sign him, and I think they can keep both goalies. cap is going up they can do a split with min starting games, and work it like blues and boston goaltending pairings
cmpunk
Cory literally carried the team on his back. The defence is atrocious. Luongo was unable to keep them in it, as much as Cory did.
Special Ed
The bias here against Lu is ridiculous. Schneider gets a fanboy thread and understanding for losing the series. Luongo gets nothing but disrespect. Considering Lu has done more for the team, than Schneids could ever hope to do. And I firmly believe Schneids is the one who will be dealt. Why? Because NTC. Because bigger return. Because Luongo has done more in Vancouver. Because any hockey savvy person, puts luongo in net over Schneider as a starter for the entire season next year. We Broke The Cup
Canucks problems: 1) Shooting top shelf 2) Staying on skates 3) Secondary scoring. 4) Rushing defenseman. 5) 2nd PP unit. 6) Too much money for 3rd and 4th liners and not enough on second line 7) Consistent winger for Sedins as Burrows disappears in playoffs at times. wai_lai416
we didn't lose the series because of Luongo.. both goalie played great.. it's the offense and defense that's atrostricous throughout the series

nucklehead53
I felt so bad seeing that final shot of Schneids on one knee looking straight ahead with Stoll and some other King in the background. He did do everything, and he held it together. He's got a bright future, here or anywhere (but hopefully here)

Super_Canuck
The guy is a stud! We would be the dumbest franchise to let this guy go. He is someone you can build a team around and he is only 26!

Special Ed
Lu has had his meltdowns in the past. He's unbelievable sometimes, but he loses his confidence sometimes. The fact of that matter is that the team plays too scared in front of Luongo. If he lets in a bad goal they don't know whether he'll play like garbage or whether he'll stay calm. He's lost their trust in high pressure games.
