Did anybody else see Raymond last night. He was in front of our net alone, everyone else was battling on the boards and he face-planted for no reason, god damn.

I dont get it...we learned nothing from the Boston series...we needed clutch scorers this time around, developed Hodgson and then traded him...What the Frack???? If he was a 30 yearold guy that could be clutch like that, you would not get rid of him. Then when you throw in we developed him through all the BS (which really means he stuck around through all the BS) we traded the guy for crap?

I really hope for MG's sake that it officially comes out that Cody wanted out

Lol, Luongo is worth ALOT more than most of you think he is. He's very clearly a top 10 NHL goaltender based on his statistics over the past 5-10 seasons, STILL. His contract isn't as bad as some would surmise, the cap hit is VERY reasonable and as much as some of you scoff at the higher payday he's going to get, stability in net is very hard to find, just ask the Maple Leafs, Blue Jackets, Panthers, Lightning, Oilers, Blackhawks, Flyers, Avs, Islanders etc. The thing that hurts his value is the NTC, but either way, he's a valuable asset to have, who's at his best when he gets a big workload. His contract isn't in Scott Gomez and Wade Redden territory of untradeable, not even close.

Still can't believe it

Woke up this morning and checked Twitter for news from practice and then realized it was all over

Everyone is saying that we lost because of the Hodgson trade or we lost because Daniel was injured.

No - they were the better team. Straight up they outplayed us in every facet of the game. We've scored 16 goals in our last 12 playoff games. The problem runs all the way down the depth chart.

If there is to be a silver lining around this humiliating loss it's that hopefully it'll prompt some significant changes

But for now I feel like Canucks fans don't have the right to mock anyone - even Calgary or Toronto - because as far as I'm concerned, a 5-game exit for the President's Trophy winners is more humiliating than missing the playoffs.

Where are all the idiots that were saying "Its only one game guys dont freak out!" Where are they now...?

Alot of people put out concerns and issues about the lack of "D" and "Scoring" and they get called wagoners or freak out artists.....

Look at the nux now.....is that "It's only one game" enuff for ya...

It isn't so much as losing in the 1st round, since that happens all the time. It isn't so much as losing to the 8th seeded team, as that happened all the time. The problem is we got DOMINATED by the 8th seeded team. Yes let's face it we got dominated. We lost the series 1-4 and it wasn't even a lucky win by the King. The Kings out played us in nearly every single game. How can the President's Trophy winner get DOMINATED by the 8th seeded team like this?

My prediction: AV 100% gone (he put 4 guys in front of the net and Richardson still scores. Not sure if that's his fault. But he is gone either way). Luongo 80% gone (wasn't even his fault, but just business)

Enough with the injury excuses for Kesler.

What, he gets injured a year ago and he carries that excuse as long as he dissapoints? He didn't play well. It happens but he is responsible. A big part of why is that teams adjusted to him and his game has not developed new dimensions to compensate. It's like an exaggerated version of Ovechkin's slowdown. Injury is not the issue.

No offence past the Sedins. You just can't will with one offensive line.

Come on people ........ aren't you immuned from disappointment yet, after 40 years or so? And you must also be very familiar with "there's always a next year." Canucks are continuously in retooling mode. The SC may end up here for your grandkids, maybe never!!
