How is this the worst idea ever?
What part of that is the worst idea ever?
- Hockey is a business
- Vancouver is a big hockey market
- We're thirsty for the cup
- It would bring ticket prices down
- Season ticket waiting list would shorten drastically
- There would be twice the hockey
And where do you plan on putting the other team? Yes hockey is a business but lets be realistic here.
Yes and we're not the only team trying to win the cup, I'm pretty sure the Blues,Kings,Buffalo,San Jose,Minnisota, are in the same boat as we are.
Whats the population in Vancouver compare to L.A or N.Y.? We have other options of watching Hockey everywhere. What the BCHL,WHL, and Ahl isn't good enough for you?
It wasn't that long ago we had the CANUCKS almost moved out of town. Remember Burkie quote" We are one phone call away from seeing this team moved. How do you expect to support another NHL hockey team?
One of the reason the Canucks are making money is because our dollar is strong. What guarentees it will stay strong? Remember all players are paid in American funds.
You think having another hockey team is going to drop the prices get real! If our dollar is higher and our price for food and gas is going up what makes you think ticket prices will go down?
