To Mtl: Luongo - it's his home town and he will be near his family. Definately seeing this team on Luongo's list of destinations. Luongo also fluent in french.

To Vancouver - Jarred Tinordi - 6'4" USA dman drafted 2 years ago and ready to step in to lineup and MTL's first round pick.

Mtl - Can then move Price and recoup a first rounder as he's an RFA and has had ups and downs in MTL and with MTL media.

Franchise goalie for a prospect. Our window, assuming we retain much or all of our core, is now. I do realize that we'll need young players to come in and play well on their entry level contracts, but one can get a much better return for Luongo than just a prospect.

Mtl has the third overall pick would be great return for both teams. New gm in MTL makes a splash and canucks get a great return.Who cares if he's 6'7 or 6'4? Great contribution btw.

Are you fricken kidding me? That return would be outstanding for the canucks...do some research before you contribute. Canucks get the third overall pick which will be a stud and a great young dman with size and toughness. Give me a break. I guess your proposal would be luongo for Crosby right? NEXT

Price is already better than Luongo, is only 24 and doesnt have a boat anchor of a contract. Their third overall pick is the highest they've had in 32 years. and they wanted Tinordi enough to trade up in the draft to get him. So, in short, Montreal says hell no

Why the heck would MTL want Luongo? Are they trading Price? They traded Halak to keep Price, now they want another #1 goalie ? LMAO
