believeinblue Posted April 28, 2012 Share Posted April 28, 2012 I honestly feel like Burrows playing for Team Canada in this tourney will be the turning point on our team's bad reputation amongst the league. Like Schneider said, "If you talk to us and spend any time with us, you understand we’re good guys. Dan Hamhuis, the twins, Manny [Malhotra], Sami Salo. They play the game the right way and do great things in the community." The guys on the roster will appreciate Burrows' hardwork and sacrifices he makes for the team as well as his upbeat personality. They will finally realize his chirpiness is due to his fierce competitive nature and he will finally gain respect from the players around the league...and not just any players but some legitimate players. Burrows never had the opportunity to play with players outside of the Canucks organization considering he has never played for any other nhl team/all star/international.
