n00bxQb
I'm fine with Pahlsson as a player, but how many guys like him do we need? Pahlsson, Lapierre, and Malhotra can basically all fill the same role while we have no center on our 2nd unit PP and we're lacking bottom 6 scoring. Hansen and Higgins both put up decent goal totals last year, but most of their goals came when they were playing in the top 6. Everyone else had less than 10. timberz21
Schroeder 3rd line. If he fails, then at the deadline get another Pahlsson type player, or just put Lappy on the 3rd line. He can do it. However will never happen with AV. Just like Hodgson, Schroeder will be sheltered and Lappy will play more on the 4th line. Let the kids play.!!!! Rollieo Del Fuego
Gillis will find a big body third line center and hopefully another power forward prospect/player. Mayray is probably gone to.
clutchburr
Nobody's talking about Malhotra! He's one of the best faceoff guys in the NHL. This season he managed 18 points playing limited minutes. I think he can crack 35 points next season, which is enough offence from a 3rd line center. He was also being mentioned in Selke talks 2 seasons ago when he was our 3rd line center, before his eye injury. If Malhotra is not our 3rd line center next year, there is absolutely zero point to having him on this team. He was born to be a 3rd line center, just like Pahlsson. It's one or the other, but Manny will be tough to trade and a buy-out is a waste of $0.8 mil/yr of cap space.
