Monty Posted May 6, 2012 Share Posted May 6, 2012 It didn't come as a shock when I heard the news, knowing that he has been battling cancer. However, that doesn't make it any less tragic. I started listening to the Beastie Boys in 1992, I was 10 at the time. They have been an absolute staple in my music collection and my all time favourite band. 47 is far too young to pass away.
