Canucks need a right shot top 4 defencemen and he's a good fit.. if we dump Luongo (hoping we don't), then Parise should be a viable option to sign here.

Parise/Wideman, good guys availiable.

btw, two questions: How old is Wideman? And what direction does Suter shoot?

Yes, it was. Defence isn't just about keeping out goals, it is also about initiating the play productively from our end - and we sucked. And the LA defence excelled while ours sucked - Ehrhoff wasn't just about his talent on the PP, he was about moving the puck out of our zone.
