"Millionaires" kinda was grand one hundred years ago, but most of us that live in Vancouver own houses worth more than that now.
After a few days here, I am surprised half of you got the anti-bot question correct to register for this site.

One of the other reasons why I hate Toronto.

They took the 1918 Stanley Cup, that Vancouver (the Millionaires) had a chance of winning. All because they decided to do alternating League rules. <_<

Also, they had a chance to win it all in 1921 and 1922 but lost in the finals in 1921 (against Ottawa Senators (whom they beat in 1915 to win the Cup) and in 1922 against the Toronto St. Pats). Sucks, doesn't it?

Terrible idea. They have always been the Canucks and they will always be the Canucks. Do the Ottawa Senators celebrate their 1906 Stanley Cup and say "Yay, we got one!"

I think the Millionaires Heritage Classic jerseys would be cool though. The Canucks do own the right to the logo and uniform, so it could happen.

The Ottawa Senators have more than one, look at the 1920's. They won it ten times.

The Senator's hung the banners from their 20's or 30's cups, they still haven't won one.

It's perfect!!

Watching the way the league is managing teh on-ice product it is increasingly clear they are moving the sport to a version of "Rugby on Ice" so a jersey that resembles a rugby sweater is very appropriate.

So your idea has already been past to management and they bought the logo rights!

And they say no one listens to these boards :)

Haha, how about the Vancouver One-Percenters then?

On a more serious note, I sincerely hope the organization doesn't plan on doing anything for the Millionaire centennial. That's cheesier than the 7th man idea. The only connection the Canucks have to the Millionaires is they played in the same city. Totally different organizations.
