The Leafs would send Luke Schenn and their No. 5 pick to the Oilers and then use the No. 1 pick to draft Yakupov ... or maybe Galchenyuk.
Panjodh
And then we can trade luongo to toronto for the first overall pick
The Brahma Bull
Oilers would have to be retarded. Schenn is so overrated.

Section116
I think Edmonton takes a real long look at this if its true. Schenn is underrated in my opinion and struggling in TO. A new team and a fresh start would do wonders for Luke Schenn. He fits in with their age structure and also brings a lot of experience while also getting a solid young player in the #5 spot. Toronto takes Yakupov (even though they need a centre) and then trades or signs a goaltender in the offseason.

DeNiro
Wow Burke really has no idea what he's doing does he? Always trying for the quick fixes. The funny thing is he could have Seguin and Hamilton right now and be well on his way to building a solid team. But now he has to try and make up for that mistake by giving up more assets... TheWheeler
You guys are all idiots ragging on Schenn. He is only 22 years old, is 6'2", 230lbs, had MORE hits than ANYONE on Vancouver, blocks alot of shots, decent points playing on a crappy team at a young age. Plus, he hasn't had a major injury yet. At 22 years old, cut him some slack. I would actually really like him in our system.

70seven
I doubt the Oil make this deal... BUT... 1st overall + Omark for 5th overall + Gardiner.... and then signing Justin Schultz makes a world of sense.
DeNiro
Luongo to Toronto for the 5th overall pick. 5th overall, Tanev, and Connauton for the 1st overall. Or Schneider, Rodin, 1st round pick to Columbus for 2nd overall.
