Pears
I say no to this guy. There are other available D men that would be much, much more valuable for us.

Sugar baby watermelon
Garrison would be a risky trade but you have to remember he was paired with Brian Campbell who flourished in Florida and was feeding all those big Garrison boomers, something Garrison might not have here from the back end, but when you play with the Sedins right, watch some of those nifty Henrik to Garrison no-look passes and bam........ well i can't argue for or against because I like this guys style
Toews
I believe it was reported that his asking price was 4.5m, with a 70m cap he is easily worth that.

DeNiro
He won't get 4.5 mil here. They're not going to do that to Hamhuis and Bieksa, who took discounts to play here. I would offer him 3.5 - 3.75, take it or leave it. He doesn't deserve a big contract after one good season.

RunningWild
Curious, what are comparable NHL contracts for Garrison? He's in a unique circumstance cause he's only played 2/12 yrs in the NHL and already 27 (turning 28). So although he had 1 good offensive yr, there is a small sample size for teams to evaluate. Obviously there will be high demand for him this summer (McKenzie stated as such), and to compete teams will likely pay over market value. If you're Gillis and negotiating with Garrison, what player contracts would you use in negotiations?
DeNiro
HAHA..keep dreaming. I'd take Connolly by himself if Tbay ever did that.

Ron Swansons Moustache
Who knows what price. Your point about Garrison being a late bloomer suggests that MG will have to balance off his potential with Allen's proven record. Allen only being 31 also works for him as Van's young dmen on the Wolves could hopefully slide in as his contract expires. I would not be surprised to see Salo pack it in and Van goes with Bieksa, UFA, Tanev on the right side.
Boudrias
It pains me to say it but if Salo does want to come back im not sure there's room for him anymore, unless he wants to be the 6 or 7th Dman. If you can sign Garrison who is similar to Salo (big shot, well rounded etc) and 10 years younger it would be foolish not to, Gillis did say he wanted to get younger. Spitfire_Spiky
Could definitely use him to round out our D-core. Also gives us more flexibility on the trade/re-signing front in terms of Dmen.
Jaku
Garrison will get more than 4 mill per year on his next contract. If MG can sign Garrison Ballard will be gone.
