But don't trade at the deadline, trade in the offseason and try and maximize value. Kassian doesn't seem to be fair value. I'd have rather have traded with Columbus for Johansen. I just hope Gillis learns from this not to make rash moves. Just because Cody's Dad and agent are boneheads, doesn't mean you should make trades that you might regret. As long as we learn from mistakes and not to make them again, I'm ok with that. With any luck we'll be all singing Kassian's praises over the long haul.
