Washington/columbus Trade Possibilties

Troy Brouwer, Joel ward and there 1st (11th overall since they have two 1sts)

Im not sure how high Washington is on Holtby because hes so new but did well in the playoffs this year??

Regardless of how the Caps feel about Holtby, they shouldn't need another goalie. Even if Vokoun doesn't re-sign, they still have him and Neuvirth, I don't see that one.

Gotta question that reasoning. Washington were a mess in goal throughout last season. Holtby was great in the post season but he has a lot to to prove he is ready to be a #1. Undoubtably WSH would love to get Louie if they can.

Your right. for some reason I thought the bjs were fifth, but still....would love to have Johnson. Maybe we could add our second and third or something

You're still asking CBJ to trade away the player they just acquired and played well for them once he arrived. At some point Columbus has to find players who can be leaders and build their team around them, even if they do have a need to improve their goaltending.
