Is there anyway mods could fix the poll? It's glitched and keeps saying "Oops, something went wrong with your vote"?

I'm rooting for the Devils but the Kings will win the cup (I'm going with the Canuck curse on this one).

watch the first games be kinda boring because jersey will want to have zero to no emotion after whistles

It still hurts me to see any team other than the Canucks being mentioned in the SCF. I need grief counselling.

Kings in 7.

No one saw this series coming though, but it reaffirms what I've been saying since Game 7 of last season - DEFENCE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS.

It won one against us last year, it beat us out this year and it's going to win the cup in a few weeks time. The Rangers had a solid defence for a while, but too many puck movers and not enough shutdown guys. Now look at Boston - 1 offensive defenceman in Chara and the rest were big, physical shutdown guys. This season, the Kings have 1 offensive guy in Doughty and the rest barely cleared the 30 point mark. On the other side, New Jersey have no defensive stars (Zidlicky is their only true OD) and they're going to the Cup Finals.

This is how you win nowadays - with a defence playing defensively first. MG wants our defence to contribute more offence which is completely against this recent trend, and its a big reason we were exploited by the big physical forwards of Los Angeles and Boston - because our small agile defenders couldn't match their big powerful forwards. We need more guys like Hamhuis/Mitchell/Seabrook etc. and less guys like Bieksa/Ballard/Tanev to win a Cup.

Could have been cool seeing Gretzky in the LA camp and Messier in the Rangers camp (had they won).

Glad the Rangers are out.

Go Devils.

I hate the Kings, but can't stand Brodeur. I'd rather some flu take over and cancel the Cup Finals altogether :P
