S C F: (6) New Jersey Devils Vs. (8) Los Angeles King

Recommended Posts

Devils have their backs against the wall, but this ain't over. Unlike LAs previous series where they were able to dominate their opponent, the Devils were just a lucky bounce away from winning either game. I'd like for LA to win the cup, but it's too early to be counting the devils out.

In the original post from August 23, 2011, I have to note a prescient typo from 26hali that read "Why Los Angeles? Well, they just added Carter and Richards..." Carter did not show up in L.A. until six months later.

No one picked New Jersey, and no one picked L.A. outright.

It doesn’t look like there will be any lineup changes for the Devils tonight if going by lines at practice yesterday.

“We’re not making a change based on the hole we’re in,” he said. “We’ll make a change if we feel there’s someone that can make us a better lineup for tomorrow night. That’s what we’re making the decision on. We thought our group played a good game last night.”
