You know it's LA when they screw up Gretzky dates and then send Tappen to interview that double d bag Will Ferrell. What for? Makes me sick. I don't see them interviewing Underwood in Nashville or Kate Upton in NY. Sure they will have a camera on them once in a while, but come on, is NHL seriously interviewing these celebrities? What a joke.

I agree.

On another note, it's great to see other NORMAL people (celebrities) supporting the team, but come the eff on, where were you during the entire season if you were such a fan? It pisses me off to see them celebrate, when they probably have no idea what is going on.. I'm sure most of them just go to gain some publicity, rising their own stalk and staying relevant.

Yup we got beat by the queens. The entertainment for me is watching the bandwagoners come out of the woodwork after game 2 scf. I love listening to the radio and tv reporters talk bout the kings run and they have no clue who's even playing on the team. I'll take being a Nucks and losin and the dedication our fans show than the weak fanbase down here in LA.

Just curious, since you have a great read of the Los Angeles hockey fan base, what is the ratio of hardcore kings fans vs bandwagoners? You are clueless... Also, I would abandon the sentiments for Willie, he's a LA KING now and loves his new home. And he himself has said that he's never heard a hockey arena louder then the hard core fans at the Staples center. Full of bandwagoners for the last 15 years I guess...

Laughable Cj. I have a relative who is a 25 year Kings season ticket holder. There are those hardcore dedicated fans in LA, but get real the fanbase here is miniscule when you compare how basketball, baseball and football are treated. Why else are you on a canucks site. Because yours blows. Go live in a real hockey market where the hockey coverage is actually decent and then maybe you'll know what your missing. The Kings have the right to be proud of thier run and soon to be SCF. But that does not change the fact that the vast majority cheering on the team right now are bandwagoners. And don't tell me you haven't seen the lousy sport reporter coverage of the team on the news. If you deny that fact I know your in denial. besides come back in a year an we'll see how many fans are still riding the cup win... It will be a forgotten memory after the Lakers hit the court..

Nothing against you, since you have been a season ticket holder for a while, but the Kings do seem to have a ton of more fan support now than the middle of the regular season in January. However, the Canucks are as loud as the Kings are in the final, during the regular season.

It all comes down to geography. Obviously, not many people that are born in LA are bound to like hockey. But I'm just curious, where are you from?

The majority of hard-core kings fans are born and raised in southern California - including myself. Transplants to LA already have a favorite hockey, baseball or football team. Granted we are not Detroit or Chicago, but nevertheless we still have hockey fans that have supported the Kings (good and bad) for over 45 years. 18,118 seats at staples and for the most part we've sold out every home game over the last 5 years. You guys talk as if Staples was empty until a month ago??? To say that the majority of the fans cheering at LA Live NOW are bandwagoners is bull! You don't live here - you don't know... Unless you are a season ticket holder or know someone you can even get a seat at staples for under $1000.00 (upper deck). My section is selling for $1500 a pop. Will a bandwagoner pay that much for seat? Don't believe everything you read or hear in the press, their job is to sell advertising and create a buzz...

Curious? Were the canuck fans that burned your city last year die-hard fans or bandwagoners?

oh... and just for the record, most Lakers fans are not Kings fans... we don't burn our city when we win.

I hope Jersey comes back just so I can keep my playoff beard going a little longer. Its pretty solid tbh.

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

This comment drives me absolutely crazy because it's completely false. Staples Center was selling out during the rebuild years, let alone now. To say they're bandwagoners means you don't know what you're talking about. Stop judging the team's fanbase based on what the local media says. There's a reason Will Ferrell chose to make fun of those people when he came up with Anchorman.

Petr Sykora and Henrik Tallinder will be back in the Devils lineup tonight. Josefson and Harrold are out.

Why didn't they put Sykora in for Game 3 in the first place?

Dan O'Rourke + Chris Rooney will ref Game 4 of the Stanley Cup final tonight. Jean Morin + Pierre Racicot will be the linesmen.

I think only the Devils' powerplay is worse than the Canucks in the playoffs.

Kings only need one goal. The Devils flat out suck, Kovy stinks on the PP and the refuse to try anything different.

Sorry to burst your bubbles but LA is winning the cup.

And I'll gladly eat my words if I'm wrong, I wanted Jersey to take it anyway.

LA Kings like the Ducks when they won. Big and belligerent. Just like them they take tons of penalties and still win.

Jersey is so depressing to watch.

My goodness I'll be glad when this playoffs is over. I can't stand Healy. I don't understand why someone as ridiculously negative as him is a commentator

I thought LA was going to win, but I really thought New Jersey would have played better.

Me too. Jersey was a team that got to where they are by hard-work and attentive play. Not to say LA didn't have the tenacity to get to where they are but everybody doubted Jersey, whereas everybody knew LA had some star power to do some damage.

I would have called you crazy if you told me Brian's little brother, waiver fodder, and Bernier would single-handedly take over the 3rd round.
