Pears
What are everyone's thoughts on Brent Burns? He didn't quite work out in San Jose so a change of scenery might be good for him. Plus the Sharks might be looking to change the team around a little bit so here is what I thought of: To Vancouver: Brent Burns + Joe Thornton To San Jose: David Booth + Roberto Luongo + Keith Ballard + Anton Rodin + 2013 2nd Canucks 2012-13 line up: Sedin - Sedin - Burrows Jensen - Thornton - Kesler Higgins - Schroeder - Hansen Kassian - Lapierre - Malhotra Edler - Burns Hamhuis - Bieksa Tanev - Connauton Schneider Lack Then after receiveing Luongo, the Sharks procede to send Niemi to Edmonton for Paajarvi and Hamilton. Phamda
I like Burns but the Sharks won't be moving Burns so quickly after giving up Coyle and Setoguchi for him and signing him to a new deal. He had an off season but new team, new system and he wasn't getting top PP time until near the end of the season. He should return to form next season. Sharks also have no need for Luongo because they have Niemi. How do the Oilers have Dougie Hamilton? If you're talking about Freddie and are suggesting a Freddi Hamilton+Niemi for Paajarvi Oilers will decline. Dubnyk is there number 1 guy now. Also they won't be moving Paajarvi. He's there future 2nd line LW and are being patient withhim And banking on Jensen to come in next season is a bad idea. We dont know f he's ready or not and we dont want to rush him into the league only to ruin his development

AV.
Burns won't be traded. Thornton sure as hell won't be traded. Luongo doesn't have nearly as high value as you seem to suggest. The idea of getting Burns is fine but it would take an Edler or a Hamhuis to gauge San Jose's interest.
mpt
Swap Edler for Ballard and SJ might do it, but then I wouldn't
Paul Bissonnette
Change Ballard to Edler, and Luongo to Schnieder, and they might consider it. Your package wouldn't even get Burns or Thornton straight up.

Jägermeister
Even though we are seriously underpaying, I still wouldn't want to make this trade. Thornton is a classless bum.
