KING ALBERTS
Bashing Luongo allows people who don't know jack about hockey or the Canucks to act like they do. Bashing him for those two games is a prime example of this.
Canucklehead420
Again, in sports you are judged by your stats and results. Who cares if he made some good saves in the end, he let 8 goals in the two games and did not make the key saves that at least would have given the team a chance to win. Canucklehead420
Ya, show me recent stats of Lu that are superior than Schneider? Than make counter-arguments. Btw how many goals did Lu let in on his belly in 2 games against LA compared to Schneider. Stop relying on the long ago stats and if you want to don't forget to mention his meltdowns against Chicago and Boston plus shootouts, can't forget them. The Brahma Bull
Luongo has 6 series wins since coming here failing to make it out of the first round only once. 32 career play off wins with 5 shutouts. what does Scheider have? 1W 2 L sure he has good numbers in those games but wait till hes started 30-40 play off games, his sv pct certainly will not be .940 stop relying on stats from long ago but then you bring up when we lost to chicago which was in april 2010. Canucklehead420
Maybe when he melted down the first time in april 2009 to chicago? Hell, his meltdown in 2011 almost cost us the first round. Up 3-0?Still not enough confidence to keep his head on straight. Honestly, the chicago team absolutely mindfracked Luongo.
