Lol, i'm fine and I love haters like you.

I guess you didn't see him carry us to the finals, I'm sure most canuck fans that don't hate Roberto would agree that he is done more for this team than AV and would agree that he is generally more important to the team than AV (just forget about us having cory for that).

Without Luongo there is absolutely no way we would have the team we currently do, Luongo will be traded but we will get more than you think for him, star goailes aren't easy to get and it won't be any different in this case.

I much rather have Phil Kessel instead of Gardiner. I dont know why people keep on saying we need a defencemen. Phil Kessel is clearly their more skilled player, and a lethal wrist shot. Sure hes not very tough, in fact hes way too soft, but what he brings offensively cannot be duplicated by any other Canucks right now.

What's with all the love for Gardiner? The guy had a good rookie season (PP minutes helped) but he's small and plays left side. He ain't passing Hamhuis and Edler on the depth chart, and while he'd be more cost effective than Ballard, no way is he more physical.

If it must be a Leaf D man let it be one of the big RH ones and hope there is improvement under our system.

1st Round, We wouldn't have beat the Hawks without him, there is no way. Luongo was the main reason we won that series.

2nd Round, He was good in that series, not great but good, he didn't hurt us at all, but he wasn't the reason, Kesler carried us.

3rd Round, I agree that the sedins got us by them but he was just as good as Niemi if not better and he was much better at times, while we were so much better than the Sharks in that series I think that if he wasn't as good as he was it would have been much, much closer and we could possibly have lost.

Finals: He choked in Boston but the Bottom line is we would have been swept without him, he carried us in all 3 of our wins, he was the reason we won those games.

We wouldn't have gotten out of the 1st Round without him, and Overall he was our MVP throughout the entire run.

Welcome to Canucks.com forum. Canucks fans for some reason think Luke Schenn is the next up and comming. When in fact if he played for a team like the Tampa Bay lighting, they will never NEVER consider swapping Luongo for Schenn as a center piece. LUke Schenn wasnt even that good, in fact, hes not been playing good at all the last 3 seasons. He is getting good ice time, yes his developement as staled. Gardiner I have no clude why they love him so much. Maybe we can start hyping Raymond to a point were his trade value will go up.

Gardiner doesnt improve our defence. Infact I think Having Kessel in our top 6 foward will benefit us more then having a Gardiner in our defence. We just add another depth player to our defence who happens to be having quality ice time only because hes on the 4th worst team in the NHL. He isnt anything more special then Edler, Bieksa or Hamhius. Gardiner just happens to be a young defencemen who had a decent season in the NHL. Jake Garinder, is not unique enough to stand out amongs our top 6. Hes not that big, hes not that tough, hes not that offensive, hes not a shut down specialist. What does he provide our team that our defence already dont have ? Please kindly tell me.

At least when I Mention Phil Kessel, this dude is gaurateed all offensive, all speed, he has shot NO ONE ELSE has on our team, and his goal scoring abilities is world class. Not even Kesler or Daneil (2 40 goals scorers) can shoot the way Kessel does. He is a guy that can end any game on the tip of his stick.

Exactly, but more to that. Luongo was the only reason the Canucks weren't swept by the Bruins embarassingly. They only played well in Game 2, every other game Luongo was hung out to dry. That's 5 goals in the other 6 games scored by our forwards which is a joke, and if they weren't scoring they were letting Boston forwards walk in on goal on countless breakaways and odd-man rushes.

Luongo was our best player last playoffs and he was our 2nd best player this playoffs behind only Schneider, but at the end of the day Schneider couldn't win those big games that Luongo could.

MG will be stupid to trade Luongo in Schneider's favour and throw away the only playoff hero we've had for a long time, which is why I don't buy any of this Toronto-B.S. Luongo's not going anywhere, and if he is, this team isn't winning a cup for at least another 5 seasons before Schneider can gain the experience and playoff heroics that Luongo earned over the years.
