Dion Phaneuf
MG is "clueless". He finally realized that the team needs to get skilled big players instead of big duds (all those signings in the offseason). The Kassian and Booth trades showed that he was getting his act together, maybe he can help out his cause with the May Ray upgrade and the much needed shutdown defencemen. Raph
MG's definition of getting "bigger" always seems to be adding useless 4th line plugs who play 5 mins a game.
Kryten
They played something like a combined 4 games this post-season out of a possible 15. AV needs to try and implement size and grit more into his roster. MG has done his best to get our team as big as possible with acquisitions such as Pinizotto, Kassian, Bitz, Weise, Booth and Higgins, but it all depends on how AV uses them and who he dresses. Bitz would have had a Nolan or King-like playoffs if he wasn't suspended and then benched. This guy has about the same if not more offensive skill than Hansen but is twice as powerful. Instead AV has Raymond playing in out top-6 when Bitz is in the press box for our final game of the season.

Ryanstorm
Sounds Like Raymond might be getting a boot.. I liked him all the way though, he has some toughness to him and always gaver.. maybe a little too much.
Tm085
if he's worried about toughness he should have resigned TORRES
Boudrias
Yea, and the frustrating thing is we've known this for years, but haven't done anything to adress it. Were Alberts, Bitz, and Weise really our answer to that problem? We had Torres who was a freight train on skates, but for some reason let him go. Now we acquired Kassian, which is good, but he's likely a fews year away from being an impact player. Hopefully we can acquire these players over the summer. To me, getting younger and stronger point to giving Kassian and Jensen a chance in the top 6 this season though.
TOMapleLaughs
That would involve trading the Sedins. Meanwhile, Thomas sitting out the season clears up a ton of space for the Bruins to make a move for Rick Nash. Yeesh. TOML

mpt
Perry plays "bigger" than Getzlaf and scores more. There are a couple of others I would have before Getzlaf........Ryan, Backes, Chris Stewart, Wheeler.

mpt
The finals proved that we need to be able to score more 5 on 5 because the refs can stop calling penalties. That's what happened against Boston. That biased officiating was ridiculous and the Bruins were getting away with everything. That officiating isn't about to change though, especially since the refs put the whistles away the deeper you go into the playoffs.
