[TSN-Insider Trading] Luongo Update

Recommended Posts

Yup.

Here is how it works

Canucks trade Luongo to Toronto and get back schen and the 5th overall pick.

Then Canucks send schen and 5th overall to Edmonton for the first pick.

That first pick along with raymond, malholtra, booth, and ballard traded for weber and radulov's negotiating rights

Finally Nash is sent here for radulov's rights and weber.

Only thin MG needs to determine is when to walk away from the table with his earnings...!!!

Remeber its Burke and he loves to trade picks.I would love to trade Luo to the Leafs but only if we get either Schenn or Frasen,Armstrong or a simular player and there 1st for just Luo!The MG should trade rights to Raymond and ballard for a good second line player and young goalie. That I would be happy to see, plus we trade both first round picks and Schroder for the Oilers 1st over all pick and there 3rd or 4th pick.

How can you say that? In 2010 MG gave up a good prospect and a 1st rd pick for a 5th/6thdman.

IMO this year offers a lot of draft trade opportunities. The FA pool is pretty weak again. The parity in the league/salary cap has killed July 1st. Even more important to draft and develop.
