I don't think you understood the irony, my friend.

A rare, yet boring event. Did I hurt your feelings?

I never said anything about "hurt feelings", you just seemed a bit douchey and I came on a bit rashly. Please forgive my rudeness.

Who gives a damn what your username is? Jus' sayin.... I mean, "Oh wow, this guy named himself after a metal, he must definitely know what he's talking about when it comes to Venus..."

With this crappy weather you never get to see anything cool happening in the sky!

First we miss the big Solar Eclipse and now this, just our luck being out here on the Wet Coast.

When it passed near the middle it looked just like Uranus.

So boring you just HAD to come and tell us how boring it is? Thanks man, really appreciate that.

I work at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich and can tell you that there were hundreds of excited people here. Hundreds. Same as there was back in '04.

Oh but of course... when there's a rare astronomical event, it's cloudy/raining in Vancouver. Just after it passes, the sun comes out and shines the next day.

How is staying home every weekend night, playing D&D with your buddies, and then going to bed early and alone? As exciting as it was in 94?

1. What is D&D?

2. I'm married.

3. It's midnight in London.

4. :picard:

Who doesn't know what D&D is?

I have never played it in my life but it is the kind of reference everyone should get by now...

1. You are on the internet and you cannot google D&D?

2. I'm sure you are.

3. It wasn't literal time.

4. :picard::picard::picard:

5. You fail miserably. Being British, this does not surprise me
