WiDeN
(*Swear filter bypass removed*) Haven't spent much time around 2 year olds? Yes, two year olds talk. My 19 month old niece is very articulate and let's face it, it doesn't take more than 2 linked together words to communicate that one is thirsty. JustJokinen!
I love how half the threads on this site eventually turn into zombie apocalypse discussion.
D-Money
So somehow the kid is revived, everybody starts screaming, and in his weakened state, he has a heart attack from the commotion and dies (again). Way to go, family!

Canuckletux
However unlikely the story sounds, it could be plausible if the doctors commitet a grave error in treatment (to such a severe extent that I really doubt it). What would make the events possible is the fact that children's respiration and circulation are not connected to the same degree as those of adults, i.e. while an adult without respiration automatically has no circulation, it is possible for a child not to be breathing, but still to have circulation. Refer to those two illustrations: adult life support: peadiatric life support: So, assuming the doctors only assessed the child's breathing, it would theoretically be possible for them to prounounce the boy dead while he still had normal circulation. However, normally you would use an ECG to assess the heart activity before declaring someone dead, so I really doubt the story. But you never know.... CaNANDian

I do not get this. If he's dead for a long time, like enough time to have a funeral that means he didn't breath for that long. That means that he just woke up out of nowhere. It's like a battery that is used up but then one day you use it and it gives you a few seconds then dies again.

This whole thing makes me wonder about after lives. Maybe he was in another then somehow transferred back into our life and then went back.
