I asked this a couple pages back but no one answered.

Does anyone know why Great Britain competes as GB in the Olympics but as England, Scotland and Wales in the World Cup?

Scottish Canuck where are you?

Another busy day for Canadian athletes tomorrow. Badminton bronze medal match is early tomorrow morning. Hopefully our track cycling team can get a medal but they'll be in tough against Great Britain in the first round. Even if they lose to Great Britain they can still make it to the bronze medal race with a fast time.

Women's triathlon should be an interesting one - Canada's Paula Findlay was number one in the world last year but hasn't raced since September due to a hip injury. Canada has a good chance at a medal in the women's trampoline; Rosie MacLennan got a silver in the world championships last year and Karen Cockburn finished fourth. Finally, equestrian jumping gets underway with qualifying - Canada got two medals last Olympics.

Good luck to our athletes competing tomorrow!
