Mr.Habitat
16 minutes + injury time left. Still 2-0. Canada has played very well for the most part.
ckamo
It's not really at all an upset. GB rarely sees play but as Scotland ad England they have lost to Canada. As a unified team they are pretty evenly matched.

Miss Korea Bob.Loblaw
I'd really like to see some downhill mountain biking added to the Olympics. Of all bike sports, it is definitely the most exciting and could help address some of the attendance issues. JustJokinen!
I asked this a couple pages back but no one answered. Does anyone know why Great Britain competes as GB in the Olympics but as England, Scotland and Wales in the World Cup? Scottish Canuck where are you? ckamo
Kim Little was the only starting player who wasn't English. GB essentially fielded an English team.

Badminton bronze medal match is early tomorrow morning. Hopefully our track cycling team can get a medal but they'll be in tough against Great Britain in the first round. Even if they lose to Great Britain they can still make it to the bronze medal race with a fast time. Women's triathlon should be an interesting one - Canada's Paula Findlay was number one in the world last year but hasn't raced since September due to a hip injury. Canada has a good chance at a medal in the women's trampoline; Rosie MacLennan got a silver in the world championships last year and Karen Cockburn finished fourth. Finally, equestrian jumping gets underway with qualifying - Canada got two medals last Olympics. Good luck to our athletes competing tomorrow!
