I am a bit confused how Cockburn nailed her routine and He falls but still takes home a medal. Strange rules seem to favour big countries with pull. That one left me scratching my head too. hockeyville88 Posted August 4, 2012 Share Posted August 4, 2012 From what I understand, a fall is only a 0.6 point deduction. So it is more advisable to have a routine that is higher in difficulty because they get more points for the attempt and even if they fall, the penalty is not as severe as it would be on the floor routine (a 1.00 point deduction I believe).
