Dr. Hockey
It pissed me off seeing him lift the cup. He was always a Canuck killer. Especially when he left. Say what you will about he and he's a good guy and all, yada yada, but the core all took home town discounts, why couldn't he?
Raph
Willie is a great guy. I'm just more mad at Lombardi paying him more money than the Canucks were willing to offer.

pimpcurtly
It wasn't necessarily about money, it was about the term of the contract. His future was in doubt from a severe concussion and the Canucks weren't willing to commit to him for more than one year and the Kings did. They took a risk which has now paid off. Oh, and nobody whine and say that he took money over a chance at the cup. He just won it.
detooned
I'm happy for the guy, really I am. But he is no longer a Canuck!

Hank's Secret Sauce
He's a prick. It doesnt matter what he did for us while here, its how you handle being moved that shows your true character. And he's not a good guy. Whether he's from here or not, doesnt matter
oldnews
Congratulations Willie! Forget Quick, Kopitar, Brown... you were the man. Brown did the right thing.

hockeyville88
I don't think I've ever been happier when watching an opponent hoist the Stanley Cup. Felt like it was one of our own. Congrats to Willie Mitchell and his family - all class all the way and a well deserved Cup as a reward. Get ready Port McNeill - Willie's bringing the Cup home with him! WeWantTheCup33
It is kinda disappointing to hear that once a player gets traded from the Canucks he is no longer important to some of you guys, especially Willie, he is a great guy and great player. He deserved to win the cup, congrats.
