Canucksbiggestfan
Since the NHL Entry Draft is just over a week away and the SCF has ended, I thought a thread on this should be made. Let's keep all the talk leading up to and on draft day in here. The Draft will be taking place from June 22nd-23rd. The location is at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh. The draft will begin at 4pm Pacific Time. hockeyville88
Good idea. I'm glad there isn't much downtime after the season ends. Keeps us fans occupied Wonder if the Oilers will be looking to trade their 1st overall pick. God knows they don't need another talented younger player

y0shi
There's already that rumour that Toronto wants to send Schenn + the 5th pick for Edmonton's 1st. If I was them, I'd just draft Yakupov. I know people don't like signing in Edmonton as UFAs, but with RNH, Hall, Eberle, and Yakupov... who wouldn't want to sign there?

Darkstar
Might be some big trades coming up at the draft. -Oilers possibly trading away the number 1 overall pick -Luongo/Schneider being dealt -Nash being dealt -Rights to Suter and Parise being dealt Going to be an exciting few weeks, that's for sure. Master Mind
The draft is bigger than the trade deadline now. The draft and July 1st are the only two interesting days till september.

Bo Horvat
Can't wait to see what the Canucks do and who they draft. I doubt Luongo or Schneider get traded at the draft though.
