Tangelos
So, post-lockout, 80% of the league are complete and utter failures? Really? Well... ...at least, of the 24 failures, we're the best one!!!
Laoag
The canucks make the playoffs almost every year but their play in the playoffs is usually pretty bad, besides the run we made to the finals last year. Are we one of the worst teams performance wise in the playoffs for how good our team is over the years? We seem to never make it past the 2nd round even when we had the WCE. Seems kind of pathetic... I will never understand why Gillis won't go out and get the Sedins a big gritty winger who can score no matter how much it costs, they're going to start declining very soon. Atleast try Kassian with them for a while and let them build some chemistry.... but that won't happen either, AV is back.
goalie13
The quicker management accepts this, the quicker they will open their eyes and make the team better.
D-Money
No, for the bottom 14 teams, not making the playoffs is a failure. For the 12-14 teams in the middle, an early round exit is a failure. For the top 2 teams in each conference/presidents trophy winning team, not winning the cup is a failure. You're logic is wrong, face it the nucks are failures. The quicker management accepts this, the quicker they will open their eyes and make the team better.

Tm085
well considering we almost always loose to the cup champions i say were doing alright. last 18 years we lost to the cup champs 14 years. thats not bad, our only deterrent is the cup champs

DooBie604
Gotta love the logic of CDC. We win too much in the regular season so anything short of a cup is a fail. The other teams that barely make the playoffs and make it to second round is a success. Canucks make the playoffs consistently making them a fail if they don't go far but Toronto never makes the playoffs so it is expected they fail so when they eventually make the playoffs but get knocked out immediately it's still considered a success? Sooooooo, I have two kids. I expect one of them to get straight A's cause they always get straight A's so I'm going to punish him when he gets a B but the other kid, who cares about him...he always fails so if he gets a D I will reward him. Erik Karlsson
Haha just wondering if any other "top" NHL teams suck as bad as us, I forgot about San Jose though, they deff got us beat. I'm also talking about post lockout, not just last 3 years.

BenSurgeon
It is all about winning the big one, if the Canucks won the cup last year I doubt we would have this post. I agree that the Canucks have a few holes to fill. Now that MG and AV have been given contract extensions, lest hope they are serious about bring Vancouver their first Stanley Cup. Any how, I could think of a few other teams in the last 10 years that are more of choke teams then the Canucks.
