Boudrias
All that means is that he's from a small town...Lots of hockey players are. If you wanna be an athlete you have to live in a big city no matter where you play. Detroit's bigger than Vancouver, and they're just as hockey crazy as us. It's really pretty irrelevant. BrownSuperman
Ryan and Zach want to win Cups. That won't happen in Minnesota.
Provost
Unless we offer him 5.5-6 million for 4-5 years, he won't be coming here.
Pears
Add them to the mix , I think they might have a solid team.. playoff contention atleast
BrownSuperman
If they were a playoff team they wouldn't have pulled off an epic nosedive down to 26th from 1st.
Starmie
Detroit is still technically in the East, even though they're in the western conference

Phil_314
I'd just like to point out the fact that though Detroit is in the Western Conference, its still pretty far east.

Darkstar
Imagine if Parise and Suter both sign with the Blues. That team would be absolutely stacked. They have the cap space too.
DownUndaCanuck
I hope Hamhuis gives Suter a call and tries to bring him over. Players have done that in the past and it's worked, plus ex-team mates seem to work pretty well, just ask L.A. Building a team helps when you get good pieces, but its even better when you have good pieces who are familiar with other players and have a sense of comraderee. We already got the AMEX line back together, now lets get some ex-Preds on our blueline.
Burnsey
Hopefully Van is on his list. Then his buddy Weber follows and joins other ex Pred Hamhuis. Weber Suter Bieksa Hamhuis Edler Tanev That's just a rediculous d corp. I could play goal and win a cup with that backend.
