Edmonton has the young core, opportunity for ice time, and close proximity to home. Vancouver has the home team factor, the chance to win now, and the elite powerplay that gives him a good opportunity to inflate his numbers. Our choices are to either sign Garrison at 4 million, or offer Schultz the max of 925k plus bonuses. IMO Schultz has way more upside, and is much easier on the cap.
