DeNiro
burke is a very loyal, honorable guy. he wouldn't do that to bob murray.

Canucksbiggestfan
His best option would be Vancouver. - Home Town - Best chance at a cup (out of the 3 teams) - Will gain a lot of points - Will get a chance to learn the game easier - Can learn from great D-Men like Salo, Hamhuis His best option would be Vancouver. sampy
How about Edmonton? - Favorite city to visit. - Bigger window to win the cup since the core is so young - Will likely put up a lot of points because of the ice time he'd receive - There won't be tons of pressure to play mistake free as a rookie - Gets to join a team sure the core is all 18-22 years old like he is. Dr.G
I think Edmonton has the edge. Young kid coming out of college, with a chance to play top minutes with a core that's going to be contenders within a few years? Looks pretty good. But hell I'd be stoked if he signs here. Greene02
-ugly city, -brutal weather -worst travel schedule -hasn't made the playoffs in 6 year You can talk about the youth all you want but until they can even make the playoffs they are not a contender. None of their youth is signed to long term contracts.
Thunder Bunnies
Gardiner - Schultz would be an awesome duo for many many years but Tanev - Schultz would be just as nice to watch.

cs2016
I think it's between us and Toronto. Gardiner connection vs. family connection.
Canuck or Die
If we do get him, then we are definitely going to have to get rid of Ballard and maybe someone else. Our D would start to get crowded.

UFCanuck
You mention all that while ignoring that he likes the city of Edmonton. He doesn't care about that. ..and I'm sure the idea of being a top pairing Dman on a team with Hall, Eberle, RNH and Yakupov is very appealing. He could be a big reason for the Oilers eventually breaking their playoff drought. Also, using the fact that the young players aren't signed to long term deals is kind of a weak argument. The Oilers haven't been allowed to sign any of them to extensions. I'd also say it's wishful thinking to suggest they all won't eventually be signed. It's nice that you dismiss Edmonton but Schultz isn't and he's the only one that matters in this case.
