Has anybody else had this problem. I start my computer and on my monitor "power saving mode" is shown and then it goes black. I tried taking the wire out and putting it back in still nothing. Where else could the problem be ?

Similar thing happened with my monitor when I was using the DVI connection. When I switched to the VGA connection and it's running fine. Weird.

Try taking your graphics card out and reseating it, if that doesn't work, take your RAM out and reseat, systematically try all components to see if they are faulty. Might work or it might not.

Hope that helps.
