Squeak
Hmmm.... if only there was a way to use tables on CDC... would make posting the standings a lot cleaner/easier...
Primal Optimist
yes, there is a way! Although, my handy dandy 8bit brain just makes a google docs table: colours it, fancies it up and then screen caps it, and uses MS Paint to cut it out and save the JGP...then posts that...but Avalanche is a bear of much more brain than me. He likely knows how to use tables in this forum format, good suggestion Squeak!

canuck2xtreme
Going to try a few things on here with tables first, if that doesn't work smoothly, I'll use Google Docs.

y0shi
We would like to send Calvin De Haan down to the New Orleans Storm as the top D ahead of Doherty/Petrecki. We are also very pleased to have signed our first round pick from 2011. Some thought it was a reach to take him 13th overall last season, but he has worked hard working on his 2-way game and has earned himself a contract. Furthermore, we would like to call him up to our big club. Today's lineup will be as follows: Moulson - Tavares - Havlat Marleau - Fisher - Kobasew Johnson - Grigorenko - Jurco Brown - Desjardins - Brunner Palushaj Carle - Hedman Meszaros - Oduya Stralman - Josi Lee Price Budaj
Primal Optimist
Also, more on Topic: New York Rangers visit Buffalo tonight in what will prove to be a very interesting game. GM Lethunder has a reputation for quality in this league, and it won't be easy, but then, so far into this 8 game road trip, no game has been easy. We can even up the win/loss ratio and our fans have made the trip with us, so this is a sure fire entertaining matchup.

canuck2xtreme
Ummmm....you're supposed to be working! Where's this vaunted German work ethic we've all heard about? Europe is relying on you, Ollie. I think they burned it all up bailing out the lazy ones that populate the rest of that continent....

arby18_
Montreal Canadiens Record: 3-1-0-0 GF: 9 GA: 9 Rick Nash (87) - Ryan O'Reilly (82) - Erik Cole (85) Alex Tanguay (83) - Matt Cullen (80) - Michael Frolik (79) David Jones (78) - Blake Geoffrion (76) - Milan Hejduk (78) Patrice Cormier (75) - Jim Slater (73) - Erik Condra (78) Brent Burns (86) - Erik Johnson (85) Mark Streit (82) - Matt Greene (82) Ryan O'Byrne (76) - Francis Bouillon (74) Niklas Backstrom (87) Anders Lindback (78) Injured: Valtteri Filppula (83) - (Back Injury - Day to Day) Press Box: Casey Cizikas (71) - Dylan McIlrath (66) The Habs have adjusted their current lineup to reflect the recent injury to Valtteri Filppula (Back), as all of the centers move up a line and Jim Slater is given the opportunity to dress. Overall, the club is quite pleased with their start, as they have won three of their first four games in regulation. Take away the blowout defeat in their home-opener (6-0 to Toronto), and the Habs have outscored their opposition 9-3 in their three victories. And the back-to-back victories over the Boston Bruins was just plain fun...
