Rumour: Both Washington Capitals goaltenders Miikka Kiprusoff and Devan Dubnyk want to play the majority of games with the Caps. The goaltender earning less games will likely be shipped out to a squad in need of a starter. The Capitals signed Dubnyk this offseason to a three year contract and was expected to take over the starting role by the end of the season. However, this dillema may force management in Washington to speed up the process. I've heard rumours that Kiprusoff may be the guy out due to his age and contract. Kiprusoff is the more trusted goalie in the nation's capitals thus far though, meaning that Dubnyk may be the guy on the way out. Teams interested in acquiring a starting goaltender are advised to inquire within for more details.

Welcome Back To Madison Square Garden and New York Rangers Hockey!!!!

all 24 home games this season feature a ticket stub thank you to our greatest fans, those whose continued support make this great game what it is for all of us at the New York Rangers and Madison Square Garden. Each ticket stub at home games this year will be worth, on the gameday of the ticket, either 15% off any jersey, tshirt or cap at the team store, or a free popcorn/soft drink combo at our concession stands and at special kiosks which will be set up and clearly marked as fan appreciation booths. Lastly, any remaining stubs not used for discounts or snacks will be good for one child or adult admission to "Free Skate at Madison Square Gardens" with dates and times to be announced. Without your support, we could not be a part of this cultural sporting phenomenon we all know, love and cherish. Thank you, fans, without you we are truly nothing.

MSG itself has completed its renovation and we trust the new look and amenities will serve the community and team for generations to come. We look forward to providing the best in sports entertainment for our fans and the City of New York, and we have high hopes on not just a playoff berth, but a chance at a deep run this year, join us at Blueshirtsunited.com to keep up to date on all the action. And now, our feature post,
