Ottawa moved flipped 4 picks for 6 players and 2 additional picks. We are very happy to welcome Alex Burrows, Lauri Korpikoski, Ryan Jones, Matt Calvert, Jeremie Blain and John Gibson to the organisation. Each one of these players brings something different to the team. Going into the draft Sens GM Winterhawks stated he is very happy with his depth of prospects and that is why the deals were made for some more established players. It was almost as though Primal Optimist and his crew were allowing the media to run on the speculation with no attempts to put breaks on the these rumours. Combine this with their recent acquisition of Ryan O'Reilly, and the Habs believe they are very close to where they need to be.
