Sad to see quality young players like Vincent and Tyler leave, but with our prospect depth and the number of high draft picks we have, the Avs felt we had to take this chance to bring in a player who can make a difference for us right now. I've probably searched at least 100 names this way to see if a player is already under contract with another team, and it lead to me being able to sign Mike Kostka, Brian Strait and Anthony Peluso during this season. Tony Romo Posted February 18, 2013 Share Posted February 18, 2013 ROSTER MOVES -With the way assistant captain Kyle Chipchura has been playing lately he has been promoted to the 2nd line centre -James Wright has been promoted to the 3d line centre role -Zach Boychuk has been promoted to the 2nd line -Dominic Moore is a healthy scrath, with the loss of his wife the team as been here to support him, but he is no state no play. We will not be trading him or releasing him and we will continue to support him with all that hes been through. -Chris Tanev has been promoted to the 1st pairing -With Brian Lashoff getting top minutes with Detroit today he has benn promoted to the 2nd pairing -Thomas Greiss will be our starter, it has nothing to do with the play of Josh Harding this year, we feel we need to watch his playing time and continue supporting him with his fight with MS.
