Yes, very lucky to have him but he didn't come cheap. salary almost tripled, but that is understandable with him just last year taking on the starter job and having an outstanding season with it. I am happy to have him for the term and price, but want everyone to know he went from 1.77m to 4.6m in the year when the cap comes down. As for Scrivens and Reimer, I fully believe both of the real Leafs goalies are better than they are given credit for. Reim's 6-3-0 start with almost identical numbers to my Mike Smith last year...and then Scrivens with 4-4-0..but under that 4 and 4 start to this season is 2.24gaa and .926 sv%...both goalies are honestly much better than I think even leaf fans give them credit for. For the record I am not a leaf fan, but the best part of their team is in the paint.

A full ten teams now sit at 999 points or higher, and that is a third of the league. By pure coincidence we are also roughly a third of the way through the season. I have not got that much insight to offer, but for me and my Rangers, I take some comfort in Tampa Bay, for instance, who were in 11th place in the east not too many days ago, and have surged up to 7th overall and comfortably with 1017 total points. Well done y0shi, and congrats, I would not be surprised, if the trend continues, to see you really challenge Florida and Washington, who deserve a lot of credit as well for maintaining 1 and 2 overall for some time now. Here are the divisional standings, I will do the conference standings later or tomorrow.
