MSG NEWS 2013:

The New York Rangers are set to bring out the big guns today in an effort to reverse the last two days slippage in the playoff race. The Rangers will dress 5 Dmen, for what may be the first time in one night all season long. A few top forwards will join the Dcorps in Joe Thornton and Thomas Vanek, along with some fine support from Andrew Ebbett and backup Steve Mason. Ryan Malone is expected to not suit up and may in fact be heading to LTIR shortly. Blue Line needs to win the night for us tonight to keep pace in the East.

It has become that thing i do while I drink a coffee each morning...lol...so much for once a week updates. Anywho: Columbus shakes up another spot in the west, that is worth noting Congrats to Brunners on really turning that franchise around. New Jersey manages to work up to number 2 in the East! Mike Vanderhoek, well done also.

Getting closer to both of my goals for the year!

1. 4th straight division title.... Vancouver, I'm coming for ya!! Maybe...

2. Be above playoff bar for either conference. Since the West gets so much flak, I want to at least be above the bar on that side. My team is strong enough (or should be if everyone performed to expectation and was healthy) to compete with any team in the East IMO.

Curious, but I think I know the answer: C2X, after the trade deadline if we need to make an emergency call up, is that guy subject to waivers if he would normally be when sent down again?

Waivers rules remain in effect until the end of the playoffs. If a player is claimed after the end of the regular season, he is ineligible to play in the playoffs. But during the season, all waivers rules still apply.
