Radek Dvorak finally signs a deal, with Anaheim Ducks for the remainder of the season and playoffs. Finally, some of that UFA baggage in my minors will pay off a little.

Dvorak will have to clear waivers in order to play for the Ducks this year as he played some games in Europe after the end of the lockout.

Recall: The New York Rangers Recall Radek Dvorak from the Connecticut Whale.

Radek will come up and slot into the 2nd line RW Pending the LTIR registration of Ryan Malone, who is currently on IR and out indefinitely following a hit on the 19th resulting in a shoulder injury.

It has some merritt. Brendan is only 34 and really just the past years worth of his hockey has declined a bit...and that could really be due to Dallas, i must say. Pittsburgh must be happy with their D and not have a place for Joe anytime soon? Just guessing.

Nashville calls up Andrew Gordon and places Joey Crabb on waivers. Gordon to take Crabb's spot on the depth chart.

Times are tough in Dallas... This way they don't have to make a new jersey. Corner cutting at its finest...

Actually a great deal for Dallas though IMO, Morrow is just about NHL ready and will be great puck moving, and very sound defenseman.

And now Enstrom scores!!!!

Bad GMing on my part has lost me points in both Enstrom's and Carkner's returns from injury! I apologize to all the fans in Washington.

PRESS RELEASE:

San Jose Sharks GM ThatMike watched his inbox fill up on Sunday afternoon, after the NHL announced the trade of veteran forward Brenden Morrow.

When asked for a statement, ThatMike said:

"Although we see a lot of value in keeping a player of Brenden around, there's no denying that we have to do what's best for this franchise, and what's best for the Sharks right now, is to consider Brenden to be on the trading block"

It sounds like there might be a bidding war brewing for the gritty winger, as it's starting to look more and more like the Sharks are going to be sellers, come next week's trade deadline.
