Blues New Faces

Today we want to introduce our new Prospect Goalie Allen York.

Allen spend his time in 3 Leagues (ECHL,AHL & NHL) last Season...but the most impressive

time was in the NHL where he recorded a 3-2-0 , a 2,30 GAA and a 0,919 SV% in 11 Games

for theBlue Jackets.

So he was statistical better than the 2 Starters of his Team.

"Even we guess that he will stay one or two more Seasons in the Minors , we are confident in him

and we hope that he will get some NHL Icetime again." TGC said.

Going to be a lot of work to be able to compete this year, sigh. Brunners put together a pretty decent team but unfortunately he got busy and doesn't have time for CDC anymore ?

A pair of Swedish wingers have been put OTB , PM for details. * Doesn't look like we use the trading block section...

Quick Q: I send in UFA/RFA offers to the commish or somebody else ?

It appears that Cal O'Reilly has decided to head to Metallurg Magnitogorsk of the KHL.

http://penguinsreport.com/2012/07/17/cal-oreilly-signs-with-metallurg-magnitogorsk-in-khl/

While we are obviously disappointed that Mr. O'Reilly has chosen this route, we wish him the best over in Russia. The Habs would like to terminate his contract at this time.

Your minor league roster is looking solid man. As things stand Scrivens is going to be the Leafs back-up next season and has looked solid in the AHL so far playing amazing for the Marlies so maybe you are going to have one heck of a signing on your NHL team next year as he could and should push Reimer for #1.

We do use the trading block section. Just so far this summer, nobody has PMed me any information to put on it.

UFA/RFA offers go to one of the agents Squeak listed. Here they are again.

News today from the Saddledome, it has been reported that while GM Zen was rummaging through his desk he stumbled across a document left there by a previous GM. It is said that the document is labeled simply "Darryl's Guide to GMing". Some excerpts have been released to press.

Darryl's Guide to GMing: Chapter 1 The Draft

Hello and welcome to your first day as a GM in the league. Now you may have been hired after the draft, that's okay prospects really aren't that important anyway. For the sake of continuity this guide will start with the first things you must do at the end of a season and move chronologically from there so we will start with the draft. The draft is your first opportunity to build your team and many GM's will say that building from the draft is the best way to create a winning team. We are going to take a better approach, your first task is to trade as many draft picks as you can for veteran players who will work hard and grind for goals these players will help your team win now. If you have any picks remaining after your trades it is advisable to draft players who will work hard and grind for goals for depth and future seasons.

Note: While drafting stay away from skill players! These players are soft and will only provide unneeded offense to your team.
