I'd expect two of the three will find a home for this season at least.

dont worry i also have just 2 projected centers right now..well my top 6

Goc injured , Sgarbossa send back to the AHL, Loktionov not even on the Kings Training Camp(or i missed it), Larsson and Hartikainen could crack their Rosters though

+ Nodl send back to the Minors , Bergenheim may out for longer time, Vincour (Training Camp?)

Iginla & Horton are probable for the Start

May i ll Ice 2, 2,5 or 3 Forward Lines at the Beginning of the Season..maybe 4..i ll see. lol

may good thing..scrivens seems more and more the new number 1 in toronto..lol

ah thats new..checked the minny site some hours ago and it sounded like he has a good chance..thanks though :)

but the article says not that he´s may out for long ;)

thats from today

http://wild.nhl.com/...s.htm?id=650792

Following last night’s Intra-Squad scrimmage, today the Minnesota Wild has activated forward Pierre-Marc Bouchard from the Injured Reserve list and reassigned defenseman Steven Kampfer to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL). The team also placed forwards Jake Dowell, Nick Palmieri and Stephane Veilleux on waivers for the purpose of reassigning them to Houston.
After missing most of last season with a concussion, Bouchard was solid in the scrimmage, taking contact and battling along the wall. He scored on a beautiful backhand shelf in the scrimmage’s overtime period.
The Wild’s training camp roster stands at 25 players, including 18-year-old blueliner Mathew Dumba, who was the Wild’s first pick in the 2012 NHL Draft. The Wild has two more days of Training Camp before it opens the season against the Colorado Avalanche on Jan. 19, Hockey Day Minnesota, at Xcel Energy Center.

compared to the other article ..that leaves kassian , zucker, larsson, and coyle as forwards 13-16 + dumba as 7th defender ..for now good times for nate prosser..i hope he takes this chance cuz the wild have a huge depth on the defence

Minnesota in real life needs to make some noise for Minnesota in the CDC league to get ahead.......I have 3 of their top 6 guys in my top 6 and also have likely first callup dman Kampfer in my minors.

EDIT: Oh, I have Matt Kassian too.......hope the guy goons it up.....haha

No, no extension talks yet. The date we can start doing that will be announced after the season starts.

Can we begin negotiating with UFAs yet?

The New York Rangers have, as the league indicated exercised their right to a compliance buy out of the contract with Rick DiPietro. We would like to make it perfectly clear that the team I inherited had to distance itself from this contract, a fifteen year deal with a cap hit of 4.5million per year, a contract signed by a previous GM, and not of our making or agreement.

It is important to note that Rick DiPietro the goaltender is a great netminder, albeit with some time lost due to injuries. We admire Rick, and thank him for his time spent on our team, and we are confident that this buyout will free him up to further his career in the CDCGML, an opportunity that our depth chart and cap circumstances would not have afforded him had we opted to keep him in our system. Rick was due to start in net for the Connecticut Whale, behind Mike Smith and Steve Mason on our depth chart, and that situation was not ideal for a man like Rick DiPietro, and not ideal for our team. We waived Rick not once, but twice, and had several candid conversations in hopes of moving him to a team that could better utilize his amazing talents. When all of these options failed to pan out, we in New York planned on using Rick as an injury callup of epic proportions, sensing that we would have an elite netminder available to us in case of emergency all season long. The substantial changes to the CBA being what they are, changed our situation regarding this contract and our approach to it, but not our appreciation of the man behind the contract.

In summary, we are sad to lose such a valuable and talented individual, however team finances, and the cut in salary cap dictated that we must be sensible and utilize the legal maneuver available to remove this contractual burden from beneath our salary cap while a window was available. We thank you Rick for your efforts here, and we wish you a smooth transition to your future, one we are sure will play out on the ice. Good Luck.
